Remember those days back at Mizzou when you were studying for finals? I know my consumption of caffeine went up.
Due to memories of those days the Indiana Mizzou Crew decided to send current University of Missouri students from Indiana a finals care package.
Thanks to current Mizzou senior ***** Glavin, we included various forms of caffeine along with granola bars and candy to help keep the students going while working to ace those finals.
We’ve already received some responses from the students.
Margaret Wesley Mizzou Class of ’19 says, “Thank you so much for the finals care package!! I’m from Evansville, IN and the only one from my city to come to mizzou my year so I was thrilled to get something from Indiana, it made my day. Thanks again!”
And Lillie Heigl tweeted, “The Indiana Mizzou Crew is the cutest chapter of @MizzouAlumni cause they sent a little love for finals.” You can see her tweet at https://twitter.com/lil_heigl/status/859496159664115712 .
If these packages brought even the slightest help to our students, the Indiana Mizzou Crew is honored to have helped.

Mizzou had a good crowd show up on Sunday, Dec. 4 when the Mizzou Women’s Basketball team took on IUPUI. It was a disappointing ending, but alumni, including some members of the Indiana Mizzou Crew, were glad to be able to watch the Tigers in action.
Head Coach Robin Pington, along with players Sophie and Lindsay Cunningham, took time to pose with some of the Mizzou crowd that showed up.
Sophie Cunningham Cunningham notched 13 points, reaching double figures for the eighth time in nine games.
Coming off an offensive eruption against Eastern Michigan the Tigers now face an undefeated Georgia team.
Join other Mizzou alums to see how the team handles the Bulldogs on Saturday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m..
We’ll be at The Stacked Pickle at 910 W. 10th Street. Ask your waitress for a parking voucher that allows you to park for free in the garage for 4 hours.

Do you have children or grandchildren in need of assistance with research for school projects?
Hoosier Novels on the Big Screen is one of many topics which Mizzou alum Dan O’Brien has studied over the years.
As a special benefit to local Missouri alums, O’Brien, aka “Mr. Research” is is offering his help to students of Indiana Mizzou Crew members. Dan has helped students with papers or projects from fourth graders to college grad students with topics ranging from the aforementioned Hoosier novels/films to Brazil’s underrated contributions to the World War II effort. He has also assisted with press kits for major motion pictures including fact-based films such as Ron Howard’s Rush and George Clooney’s The Monuments Men. He also provided special research assistance during the filming of Terry George’s The Promise, a World War I drama starring Christian Bale (which completed filming recently in Europe).
O’Brien is also co-author of the books MizzouRah: Memorable Moments in Missouri Football History and Mark May’s Tales of the Redskins.
And, as a native Hoosier, he has a working knowledge of Indiana history, which could receive greater attention in schools during the coming year since 2016 is Indiana’s Bicentennial year.
On Feb. 10 at the Greenwood Library O’Brien will give his presentation of Hoosier Novels on the Big Screen. Click for more information.
